You can look at a TV and imagine it in your living room, but you can’t be sure about its performance until you’ve used it. There’s nothing worse than buying a costly gadget, only to find out it doesn’t work the way you wanted.

Being able to test-drive technology can make a world of difference. Good news: An ongoing promotion from manufacturer Hisense will let you test some of its best TVs for 100 days. If you don’t like it, you can return it. You’re guaranteed to get your money back.
You just have to register within 14 days of buying your TV
Once you have your shiny new TV, you must head to Hisense’s promotional website to register your device. This is the only way you can get a refund if you wind up not liking it. Do this within 14 days of your purchase.
Of course, you have to pay full price of the TV upfront. You also need to buy the TV from one of its approved sellers between Sept. 9 and Oct. 31. That includes Amazon, Walmart, PC Richard and Best Buy.

A new blood test is that good at spotting early signs of Alzheimer’s. It checks for two proteins tied to the disease: amyloid beta 42/40 and p-tau217. People with Alzheimer’s usually have more of the second one. The best part? The test is already FDA-approved and way cheaper (and less scary) than a spinal tap. Science wins again.

You may know it’s one of the heaviest sports cars, starting at $174,995. To punch above its weight, GM engineers simulated it to prep for the test. The computer was only off by 1.09 mph. How cool. I tried a computer sim once, but I was only spinning my wheels.
